Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Provide mobility support and safe patient transfers using proper techniques
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident rooms and common areas
- Document care activities accurately and timely in resident charts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current Nevada CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation to work
- Pass background check and drug screening
