Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe movement of patients
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean, sanitized environments
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Virginia CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
