Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support mobility and transfer residents safely using proper techniques
- Maintain clean, sanitized living environments
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams to develop care plans
- Report concerns to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- North CNA certification (or enrolled in state-approved program)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to elder care
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
- Background check and drug screen required
