Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Support nurses with patient monitoring and care documentation
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Transport patients safely within medical facilities
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Adhere to HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California CNA certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
