Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration) accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients, and positioning as needed.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure patient well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Valid state license or willingness to obtain CNA certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
