Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications and vaccines following clinical protocols
- Perform vital sign monitoring and EKG screenings
- Prepare and maintain sterile exam rooms and medical equipment
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations overnight
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
