Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Mobility Support: Provide safe and respectful assistance with transfers, walking, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure patient comfort.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff, reporting changes in patient condition immediately.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring the patient's living environment is clean and safe.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and care logs in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered Arizona State CNA Certification required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Entry Level - No prior healthcare experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
