Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Document daily care activities and patient observations accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidate must be willing to obtain or currently hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- No prior experience required; we offer on-the-job training.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
