Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Document patient progress and care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current CNA Certification or completion of an accredited CNA training program.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a focus on detail.
