Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and companionship
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Tennessee CNA certification (or willingness to obtain through our program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Tennessee driver's license preferred for local travel
