Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patient hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with meal service and nutritional needs
- Support licensed nurses in patient care documentation
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Respond to patient call lights promptly
- Participate in team care conferences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Minnesota CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
