Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient care plans are followed
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate nature and commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
