Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to elderly residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas
- Support social activities and promote resident engagement
- Adhere to all HIPAA and healthcare facility protocols
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly care
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Willingness to complete state-approved CNA training program
