Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe movement of residents
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and documenting food intake
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments in resident rooms and common areas
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
- Participate in team huddles and ongoing training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required - we provide full paid training!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Indiana CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided during training)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation to our Indianapolis facility
- Must pass background check and drug screening
