Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Document patient observations accurately and timely
- Support social and recreational activities for residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary (training provided)
- Current NYS CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to varied NYC locations
- Background check and health clearance required
