Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient behavior changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Support daily living activities while maintaining patient dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately and timely in patient records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – we provide all training!
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire
- Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
