Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Support mobility and safe patient transfers using proper techniques
- Monitor nutritional intake and assist with meal services
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Florida CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- No prior healthcare experience required
