Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document resident care accurately and maintain medical records
- Support resident independence while promoting dignity and respect
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must pass criminal background check and health screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly residents
- Reliable transportation to and from our DC facilities
- Must complete state-approved CNA training program (provided)
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
