Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning patients safely
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support patient hygiene needs and maintain clean living spaces
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary—training provided
- Current Florida CNA certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly or vulnerable patients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for all shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
