Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and position changes to ensure safety
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team
- Adhere to all HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting and transfer tasks
- Empathetic demeanor and patience working with elderly clients
- Willingness to complete additional training programs
