Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Provide mobility assistance and help with therapeutic exercises
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Support nutritional needs during meal times
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Participate in team huddles and care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must obtain PA CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly care
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
