Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and assist with light housekeeping
- Document care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Transport patients to appointments and activities within the facility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- No prior CNA experience required – training provided!
