Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Support nursing staff with patient positioning and transfers
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program (provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training available)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation to various Chicago locations
- Background check and drug screening required
