Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of RN/LPN staff
- Report patient condition changes to nursing team promptly
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Support patient emotional well-being and companionship
- Accurately document care provided in patient records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ohio CNA certification (we provide training)
- Valid driver's license (if required for facility transport)
- Proof of negative TB test or chest X-ray
