Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support daily activities and promote resident independence
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior CNA experience necessary – we train!
- Current Texas CNA certification (or willingness to obtain immediately post-hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Passion for elderly care and commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
