Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take vital signs and report patient observations to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Document care activities accurately and timely
- Assist with meal service and feeding when necessary
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to obtain Minnesota CNA certification within 90 days
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature and patience with elderly patients
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
