Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support patient mobility and transfer safely using proper techniques
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Ohio CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
