Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the charge nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities and medical information accurately and timely.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
