Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report patient observations to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Support patient emotional well-being through active listening and empathy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California CNA certification or enrollment in approved training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation to various Bay Area locations
