Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper techniques
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional conditions and report changes
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Document care activities accurately in resident records
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Nebraska CNA certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to help others
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to work shifts
