Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during challenging times.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients who require assistance.
  • Transport patients to and from activities, medical appointments, or therapy sessions using appropriate mobility equipment.
  • Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be a compassionate, patient-oriented individual with a strong desire to help others.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients standing for extended periods.
