Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Support healthcare professionals with treatment preparations and documentation
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following OSHA standards
- Build meaningful relationships through empathetic patient communication
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and care needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current NC CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and care protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
