Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHRs)
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in residential care settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/resident populations
- Background check and drug screening required
