Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipmentDocument patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Serve meals and assist with nutritional needs as directed
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and companionship
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current Ohio CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
