Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility aids and transfers.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (or enrollment in an accredited CNA program with graduation date).
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
