Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly residents
- Perform light housekeeping duties in patient rooms and common areas
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Florida CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help elderly adults
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
