Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Support nursing staff with patient documentation and charting
- Transport patients safely between departments using proper equipment
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Report patient changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with meal service and monitor patient nutrition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Tennessee CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Reliable transportation to work shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
