Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and medical observations
- Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical equipment
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient information accurately and confidentially
- Support patient comfort and emotional well-being during treatment
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work in fast-paced medical environment
- Background check and drug screen required
