Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately in patient charts
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Document patient observations and care delivery in electronic health records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Compassionate nature with strong patient focus
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (for facility transportation)
