Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient histories and record vital signs accurately
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Perform routine laboratory tests and phlebotomy
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Maintain sterile examination environments
- Manage electronic health records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle front desk operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active CMA/RMA/Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, Meditech)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
