Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and care documentation
- Support nurses in patient care procedures and treatment administration
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California CNA certification (or willing to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude with commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license preferred
