Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and care delivery
- Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain clean environments
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families through attentive care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Participate in team huddles and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- Illinois CNA certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
