Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and resident preferences
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and engagement activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Arizona CNA certification (or enrollment in state-approved program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including nights/holidays
