Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care during weekend rotations (12-hour shifts) in acute care settings
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient monitoring, consultations, and follow-ups
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on chronic conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend-specific care protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN strongly preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Telehealth certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during remote shifts
