Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Support nurses in daily clinical procedures and medication administration
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- New York State CNA certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (will be provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
