Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and suction control
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols per OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper training
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital documentation
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required - we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Willingness to obtain Texas Dental Assisting license after training
