Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument handling and suction management
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper radiation safety protocols
- Manage patient scheduling, recall systems, and digital chart documentation
- Provide chairside support for patient comfort and anxiety management
- Perform infection control procedures and OSHA compliance protocols
- Assist with front desk duties including check-in/out and insurance verification
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required – we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn dental software
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Valid North Carolina state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
