Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop diagnostic images
- Manage patient records using digital dental software (training provided)
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate appointments and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control standards
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required – we provide full training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with patients
- Basic computer proficiency for digital record management
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR certification (we provide training)
- Valid driver's license for local travel between offices
