Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction management, and patient positioning
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols for all dental equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal patient flow between appointments
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays under supervision
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassion for patient care
- Basic computer literacy for digital record management
- Willingness to complete paid on-the-job training program
- CPR certification (provided during training if not already certified)
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional off-site errands)
