Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Maintain sterile clinical environments and infection control standards
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid NJ state X-ray certification (will assist with obtaining)
- CPR certification (will be provided)
